Last weekend we went out for our shakedown trip into Prince William Sound and it felt good to just be out on the water and anchor up and take stock of the long list of things that need repaired from a very tough winter in the water in Whittier. Turns out our slip was the most exposed one in Cliffside Marina and not a very good place to spend a winter. Oh well, as we eased into Hummer Bay and set anchor for a lunch break it all seemed worth while as we share the quite of the bay and fellowship with friends.
It was good to have Larry and Jake along to share in the adventure and I look forward to many more trips this summer.
